JEWELLERY CARE

AIESTANKONA jewellery is very delicate. So that your jewellery will last a lifetime:

To preserve the shine of your pieces, AIESTANKONA advises you to clean them with a soft, dry cloth .

Damage or twist may occur if excessive and uneven force is applied.

Handle with care. Jewellery may get caught in the garments, causing unexpected accidents.

Remove jewellery when doing physical work, sport, before going to bed. Keep out of reach of children. If skin irritation or problems are observed during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.

All stones, pearls and coral are delicate and sensitive to heat. AIESTANKONA recommends avoiding high temperature conditions, hot water and perfumes.

Changes in appearance of surface finishes are not considered a defect, but a sign of normal wear and tear.

It is recommended to store the jewellery individually in its original box to avoid any damage; contact with other objects may scratch the jewellery.

Inspiration taken from Neolithic statuettes depicting female figures known as MOTHER GODDESS.

The world's earliest ceramics were not pots or vessels, as is often thought, but small clay figurines depicting women.

When it comes to making earrings, both large and small, much of my inspiration comes from my fascination with the Neolithic statuettes representing women known as MOTHER GODDESS.

The most important scholar of these MOTHER GODDESS was Marija Gimbutas.

A courageous and prestigious archaeologist. Her studies focused mainly on the research of ancient matriarchal civilizations in Europe.

Marija Gimbutas' work includes research on ancient prehistoric statuettes from all over the world.

She has found that, in many parts of the world, in Early Neolithic, the vast majority of human figurines depict female images.

It was only later, from the Bronze Age onwards - and in some places even much later - that statuettes depicting male silhouettes appeared.

Artistic research reveals the transition from societies of matriarchal, peaceful and egalitarian cultures to societies of warmongering and patriarchal cultures.
