To make the texture, I was inspired by granulation.
Granulation is a decorative technique that consists of soldering small spheres of gold to create patterns. The earliest known examples of jewellery decorated with granulation come from the royal tombs of Ur in Mesopotamia, dating back to 2500 BC.
Ur, the land of Abraham.
Ur is one of the oldest words in Basque and means "water". Urre, in Basque, means gold.
