I let time and chance shape my creations. The uncontrollable action of chance, the peculiarities or anomalies that arise during the process of construction, is fundamental.

Out of that interaction comes a beauty so rapturous and moving that it could never have been created intentionally.

Asymmetry, roughness, simplicity and intimacy suggest a natural process. The effects of time are evident in its patina when imperfections are added. It gives it soul and character. They give the piece a perishable and organic, living air.
